Demanding citizenship for the Hindu refugees who left Bangladesh and came to India due to the religious persecution, on 17th of March, Hindu Samhati organized a rally in Thakurnagar of Bonga of North 24 Parganas. More than two hundreds workers took part in the rally. Besides, Hindu Samhati leaders raised their voices demanding Population Control Act and the Govt's step to identify and deport illegal muslim infiltrators from Bangladesh. Sri Debtanu Bhattacharya, President; Sri Sundar Gopal das, Secretary; Sri samir Guharoy, Vice President; Sri Sujit Maity, Assistant Secretary; Sri Dinabandhu Gharami and Sri Mukunda Koley, Assistant Secretary were present in the program. In his speech, Vice President Samir Guharoy said, " In 1947, after Partition the Hindu Community in Bangladesh( previously East Pakistan) faced persecution and due to that, they were forced to leave Bangladesh and came to India. So, today it's India's duty to give them Citizenship of this country.'' Besides, he also said that after giving two countries to Muslims, Hindus still are becoming minority in various parts of India. So, to save our country from another partition, we need strong Population Control law in India.
