Hindus declared as foreigners in Assam got bail with the help of Hindu Samhati
This year 2 Bengali Hindus Sanjib Dey and Mrs. Mayarani Das of Assam's Cachar district were declared a Bangladeshi by Foreigners Tribunal of Assam. Though they had a chance to prove themselves as Indian citizen, but their economic condition didn't support them. Besides, as declared as Bangladeshi, they have to go to the detention camps after being arrested. So, they appealed HS for help. Few days back, on 4th of April, HS filed a petition in Guwahati High Court seeking anticipatory bail. Following that plea, yesterday on 12th of April, Court granted them bail. Now they can live in peace. And they thanked HS for this.
