A Hindu woman who was kept captive by some muslim youth, was rescued by Hindu Samhati workers from trafficking. Later she was handed over to her family. Yesterday, the incident happened in the coastal areas of rural West Bengal's Jibantala area of South 24 Parganas district. According to our sources, Sumita Das(name changed), a resident of village Arampur under Gosaba Police Station of same district was married and has two children. But her husband left her. From then she was living in her parents' home. But few months back, she build a relationship with a man through missed call whom she has never seen before. The man said that she was a Hindu. Sumita believed and thus a relationship was built. The man lured her to elope and promised to take responsibility of her children. In the morning of 22nd of May, she left her parental home with her children. But she saw that the boy is muslim. She got that she was cheated. But there was no way to return as the muslim man and his friends kept him captive in a room. On that afternoon, one of HS workers saw that a Hindu woman with two children was crying in a room and outside some muslim youth was drinking. He got anxious as many these types of cases happen every year as many Hindu girls got trafficked by fraud. So, he informed other workers. They all came and beat those Muslim youths and rescued the woman. Later, she was brought from there and kept safely in a worker's house. Besides, our boys informed her family about the whole incident. Today, her father came and she was handed over to her family. Her family thanked Hindu Samhati and its workers for this noble work. Besides, her father apprehended that if HS boys had not rescued her, she may be raped and killed or got trafficked to any red light areas of the country.
