Yesterday, on 8th June, afternoon around 4 PM, a Hindu dominated village named Nankora Vangipara of North 24 Parganas under Sandeshkhali Police Station has been attacked by TMC backed Muslim goons. Houses of Hindus are attacked, vandalized, bombed. Besides numerous rounds of bullets are fired at Hindus. In this attack, 4 Hindus are killed and many are injured. Among the injured ones, one is very critical. Local Hindu villagers alleged that in the parliamentary election, Hindus of that village voted for BJP and BJP got lead from the village. And after the result Hindus put BJP flags in village. But muslim protested and tried to put down the flags. Hindus who are supporters of BJP protested. Then around 1500 strong Muslim mob armed with bombs, country made guns attacked the village. The goons are led by Sajahan Seikh attacked the village. Pradip Mondal(40), a HS worker and an active leader of Hindus are attacked first. His house is gheraoed, bombed and numerous rounds of bullets are fired. He died in the spot. Besides another 4 Hindu youths are shot dead. Local villagers informed us that many more youths are shot. But only the bodies of 4 are recovered. Besides, locals doubted that the attack was pre-planned and Police was inactive because Sajahan Seikh said so, because the attack was started at 4 PM, but Police came very late to the village. The dead Hindus are- 1. Pradip Mondal(40), 2. Sukanta Mondal(25), 3. Shankar Mondal( 32), 4. Tapan Mondal. Hindu Samhati President Sri Debtanu Bhattacharya expressed his deep grief and said, ''In West Bengal, it is tradition Hindus have been attacked by Muslim goons in the disguise of Politics. Government changes, but atrocities on Hindus never stop. Sajahan Seikh who led the attack, was previously was a CPI(M) leader and led numerous attacks on Hindus. Now, TMC is in power and he has been torturing Hindus bearing TMC flag. I demand immediate arrest of Sajahan Seikh.'' He also said, "the political leaders who shelter these goons, will pay heavy price in future. public will not spare them.''
